Financial Controller (m/f/d) global, medium-sized industrial company
Opportunity: Assuming more responsibility after 2-3 years combined with relocation (U.S., Singapore or China)

 

Your tasks:

  • Independent responsibility of various, also cross-location projects, mainly in the areas of financial controlling, business development, strategy and accounting.
  • Support of the CFO in all commercial questions and challenges as well as in the management and continuous development of the business and commercial structures.
  • Close cooperation with the plants, preparation of benchmark analyses and transfer of "best practice" between the 5 production sites worldwide, partly with a start-up character
  • Support in M&A processes and joint venture negotiations.
  • Preparation of business plans and performing of profitability calculations and potential analyses.
  • Participation in the calculation of offer prices for (potential) customers and their projects
  • Support for annual short- and medium-term planning and forecasts.
  • Preparation of decision proposals and presentations for the management.
  • Close cooperation with the central departments for production efficiency and innovation.
  • You report to the CFO and work closely with another colleague in Controlling, as well as with financial controllers at the respective locations.

 

Your profile:

  • Ideally, you have 3-5 years of experience in financial controlling and have successfully completed a degree in economics with a focus on Controlling, Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience in internationally operating companies is a prerequisite, correspondingly also fluent business English skills.
  • A background in a medium-sized manufacturing company is a mandatory requirement.
  • You have already successfully completed numerous commercial projects on your own responsibility.
  • As a thoroughbred financial controller, you naturally understand financial and business management interrelationships and are interested in key figure-based projects. Reliable balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow knowledge etc. is a matter of course for you.
  • You convince us of your success through entrepreneurial action, e.g. in the area of cost reduction and quality improvement.
  • You enjoy working with Excel and PowerPoint and have a good knowledge of these.
  • It is nice to bring along good German language skills.
  • You like to be mobile and enjoy traveling up to two weeks every two or three months - to the U.S. and Asia.
